South Pointe Park

After dinner or when you just need a break in the sunshine with a relaxing walk, South Point Park is the best choice for some spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Not only that, but you can catch a great view of ships as the head out of Miami’s harbor for a cruise. The 17.5-acre public park has undergone a $22.4 million facelift that included new pavers, serpentine walkways. Couples can admire the new water features or just sit and watch the sunset.
Red Fish Grill

Oleta River State Park

Bring your binoculars and observe the wildlife at the award-winning state park that also offers 15 miles of mountain-bike trails for all levels. But if you’re looking for a more intimate setting, the park also offers rustic log cabins for campers and the cabins offer no televisions or phones for the “guest’s relaxation.”
Las Olas Riverfront

For a long gaze of the starry night reserve the first Friday of every month and head over to the museum. That’s when officials open the rooftop observatory and a guide explains the celestial show from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The museum also offers a laser light show on the first Friday of every month and and prices range from $8 for adults and $4 children.
