Stone crab season opens on the sand, Teddy Swims sings love songs with grit in Sunrise, Chayanne slow-dances a whole arena in downtown Miami, and a string quartet plays Thriller by candlelight on Las Olas. This is not a weekend for staying in. You just have to pick your night.
Every pick below was checked on October 22, 2026 — real event, real venue, real start time — and every one passes our one test: we can picture the two of you there. Prices are the lowest we found at check time and move as seats sell, so lock the big rooms in early.
Friday, October 23
Teddy Swims: The UGLY Tour — 7 PM, Amerant Bank Arena, 1 Panther Pkwy, Sunrise. Ticket prices vary by seat. Wyatt Flores and MarcLo open, then Teddy's big soulful voice takes over — and when a full arena sings Lose Control back at the stage, you will be holding onto each other. His songs are love songs with dirt under their nails. Dinner in Sawgrass first, park once. Get tickets.
South Beach Seafood Festival: VIP Chef Showdown — 7–11 PM, Lummus Park, 1400 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach. $175, all-inclusive, 21+. Eighteen chefs battle head-to-head on the sand while you taste every dish, open bar in hand, and vote for the winner. Arguing over which plate deserved the crown is the date — and your feet are in the sand the whole time. Get tickets.
Turnpike Troubadours — 7 PM, FTL War Memorial Auditorium, 800 NE 8th St, Fort Lauderdale. From $36. Red-dirt country's best storytellers in a room far smaller than they usually play — fiddle, harmonies, and a crowd that knows every word to Diamonds & Gasoline. Grab dinner in Flagler Village first, then two-step close all night. Get tickets.
DOPE LEMON — 8 PM, ZeyZey, 353 NE 61st St, Miami. From $52.85. Angus Stone's hazy, slow-groove project in an open-air Miami room built for swaying rather than sitting. This is the loose, late, find-a-corner-and-move-together Friday — the opposite of an arena show, in the best way. Get tickets.
Saturday, October 24
South Beach Seafood Festival: Seafood Slam — 1–5 PM, Lummus Park, 1400 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach. $160, all-inclusive. The festival's flagship afternoon: unlimited tastings from more than 40 South Florida restaurants, live music, and cocktail pavilions, all on the beach. Graze hand in hand, pick your favorite plate together, then walk straight into the surf at sunset. Wear shoes that handle sand. Get tickets.
Candlelight: Halloween Classics — 6:30 PM, NSU Art Museum, 1 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale. From $52. The Listeso String Quartet plays Thriller, the Stranger Things and Beetlejuice themes, and Danse Macabre surrounded by hundreds of candles inside the art museum. Spooky, but make it elegant — and Las Olas dinner is a two-minute walk after. Get tickets.
Miami City Ballet: American Rhythms — 7:30 PM, Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center, 201 SW 5th Ave, Fort Lauderdale. From $67.50. The company's season opener travels north: Balanchine's Allegro Brillante, a world premiere by Patricia Delgado with music by Emily Estefan, and Robbins' Opus Jazz to close. Dress up, hold hands in the dark, drinks on Las Olas after. It repeats Sunday at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. Get tickets.
Chayanne: Bailemos Otra Vez Tour — 8 PM, Kaseya Center, 601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami. Ticket prices vary by seat. Three decades of romantic Latin pop ballads, sung arm in arm with thousands of couples — Torero alone is worth the trip downtown. Country fans get an equally good Saturday: Blake Shelton plays Hard Rock Live in Hollywood at 8 PM the same night. Pick your love language. Get Chayanne tickets.
Sunday, October 25
Come From Away — 2 PM closing performance, Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center, 201 SW 5th Ave, Fort Lauderdale. Ticket prices vary by seat. Slow Burn Theatre closes its run of the musical about the town that welcomed 7,000 stranded travelers on 9/11 — funny, kind, and quietly romantic in a small room where every seat feels close. Brunch on Las Olas first. Get tickets.
Sunday Breeze: Caribbean, Latin & Afrobeat Sunset Social — 6–10 PM, The Goodtime Hotel, 601 Washington Ave, Miami Beach. $30, including a welcome cocktail and passed bites. DJ Gairy Sweetness soundtracks the sunset over the pool deck — Caribbean, Latin, and Afrobeat rhythms, a drink in hand, and nowhere else to be. The soft-landing Sunday date. Get tickets.
Katt Williams: On Book Tour — 7 PM, Lillian S. Wells Hall at The Parker, 707 NE 8th St, Fort Lauderdale. Ticket prices vary; resale is running steep. One of the sharpest live comedy acts in the game closes the weekend — couples who laugh together, and all that. Dinner on Las Olas first, and buy early if you are going. Get tickets.
Brand New — 8 PM, Hard Rock Live, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood. Ticket prices vary by seat. The reunion tour that sold out everywhere it touched ends the weekend loud and emotional — if these songs were your songs in the 2000s, singing them next to the person you love now hits different. Late dinner at the Guitar Hotel after. Get tickets.
